Holly Lewis Pemberton
Holly Lewis Pemberton is the Director of Choirs at Worthington Kilbourne High School in Columbus, OH, where she teaches 4 concert choirs and AP Music Theory. She previously served as the Director of choirs at Olentangy High School and Shanahan Middle School in Lewis Center, OH, where she taught five concert choirs and a competitive, award-winning show choir. Under her direction, show choirs consistently won many awards, including overall grand champions. Choirs under her direction consistently receive Superior Ratings at OMEA District and State Adjudicated Events.
Pemberton holds a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Music Education degree in both Choral and Instrumental Music from The Ohio State University. While completing coursework at Michigan State, Pemberton served as the assistant conductor for State Singers and Women’s Glee Club, and graduate assistant for undergraduate conducting courses. Mrs. Pemberton had the distinct honor to work with inspirational educators and conductors such as Dr. David Rayl, Dr. Sandra Snow, and Dr. Jonathan Reed.
As a member of the American Choral Director’s Association and Ohio Music Educators Association, she attends many professional conferences and has presented interests sessions at the Michigan Music Conference.
