Hallie Reed

Hallie Reed, soprano, is head of music at the Internationella Engelska Skolan in Stockholm, Sweden. Since moving to Stockholm in 2013, she sings regularly with the St. Jacobs Kammarkör and conducts a student choir at the Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan. In 2014, Ms. Reed sang with the Swedish Radio Choir and Orchestra at their performance for the BBC Proms at Royal Albert Hall in London, UK. A native of East Lansing, she graduated from Michigan State University in 2009 with a degree in music education, after which she began her career in Houston, TX as associate choir director at Cy-Fair High School for four years and sang with the Houston Chamber Choir. Past engagements include director of Intermediate Choral Studies at Interlochen Arts Camp and teacher at the Texas Tech University Choir Camp. Ms. Reed delights in collaborating with musicians of all ages and abilities from around the world, especially to promote and instill a love of choral music.
